Usage Instructions:

• Connection Indicator – The blue light will stay on for 1 second when a cartridge is properly connected to the base.
• Power On/Off – Press or click the button 5 times within 1.5 seconds to turn Puffy Boy on or off. The mode light stays on for 1 second when entering the power-off (or power-on) state. There is no automatic power-off, and the default factory state is on.
• Smoking – Puff mode: When you draw directly, the current mode light gradually brightens to stay on. When you stop smoking, the indicator light gradually fades. Button mode: Holding down the button allows you to smoke. When smoking, the current mode light gradually brightens to stay on. When you stop smoking, the indicator light gradually fades.
• Preheating – Press or click twice within 1.5 seconds to start preheating. The indicator light cycles through seven colors to indicate preheating. Preheating is done at a constant voltage of 1.8V for 15 seconds. Any operation during preheating will stop it.
• Variable Voltage – Press or click three times within 1.5 seconds to change voltage (blue light is the default when powered on). 2.8V; green light flashes 3 times. 3.4V; blue light flashes 3 times. 3.8V; red light flashes 3 times.
• Battery Level Display – Quickly press the button once to display the current battery level. 75% or more: green light stays on for 2 seconds. 35-75%: blue light stays on for 2 seconds. Below 35%: red light stays on for 2 seconds.

Charging Parameters

• Low Battery Warning – When the voltage is below 3.2V, the red light flashes 10 times as a low voltage warning and the device enters standby mode.
• Charging Current – 0.5A with overvoltage protection. Smoking is not supported during charging, and fast charging is not supported.
• Charging Time – Approximately 80 minutes.
• Charging Display – Red light stays on during charging. Green light stays on when fully charged.

Protective Features

• Charging Overvoltage Protection – Charging is normal at 5V0.5A, but it enters protective mode and cuts off the charging current when the voltage is between 7V and 28V (The indicator light does not come on when the current is cut off).
• Smoking Timeout – If smoking lasts more than 10 seconds, the red light flashes 4 times and the device enters standby mode.
• Mode Memory – There is mode memory when not disconnected from the power source. If the base is unplugged and then reconnected after a power failure, the mode is set to the default blue mode.
• Overvoltage Protection – The PCBA has overvoltage protection.
• Short-Circuit Protection – The red light flashes 3 times to shut off the output.
• No Load (Cart Not Connected) – The white light flashes 3 times.
• Overload Protection – If the resistance is lower than 0.8 ohms, the red light flashes 3 times, shuts off the output, and the device enters standby mode.
